Here we go again!!!

A 4000km drive beckons tomorrow as we depart for our big journey to France to compete in this year's Grande Odyssee sled dog race. With over 750km of trails through the French and Swiss Alps and a total altitude gain of over 30,000 metres - yes, metres! - it has to be the toughest sled dog stage race out there!!

Be sure to visit our blog for updates of the race which starts on Saturday 10th January. I'll be reporting on two team's this year - Milos Gonda and Jan Slosar. Jan is Milos's cousin and is racing LGO for the first time. He runs with a fantastic team from Taisto Torneus's kennel where he works during the winter. We've seen him training and the team is definitely one to watch! Milos is reported as one of the favourites too but with many good teams taking part we just hope we can avoid problems and let the dogs run to their full potential.

Wish us all luck! And we hope to see you here every day! ;-)
